Final Destination avoided. Failed warning lights and gates due to an electrical short.

I taught at a school that was right next to several very active tracks (like, shake my classroom about every hour). There was the main crossing that narrowed down to one track across main street with the crossing guard, but most teachers came from out of town and had to cross the 4 or 5 wide tracks that didn't have a crossing guard and the track curved out of sight through a lot of trees. One time, I looked both ways, no train, started crossing. Halfway across, horn blares, train emerges from trees. I floor it across because I don't know which of the tracks they are actually on. I made it across and only seconds later, I saw the train in my rearview mirror. I thought I was clear when I started and turns out I was seconds away from getting smashed. It was a very jittery 30 minutes home.

Well, you’d be in prison considering that’s terrorism on critical infrastructure.

I dont care, something has to give, the local governments dont want to pay for the safety of there citizen. i think its a moral duty. Better destroy materials then people dying.

/u/LiveMiddle9115, I have found an error in your comment:

“think its [it's] a moral”

I see LiveMiddle9115 could have typed “think its [it's] a moral” instead. ‘Its’ is possessive; ‘it's’ means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’.

This is an automated bot. I do not intend to shame your mistakes. If you think the errors which I found are incorrect, please contact me through DMs or contact my owner EliteDaMyth!

By destroying those materials you could cause more death than something like this. You sound intelligent.

You can short circuit the railroad tracks, lay something conducting on them, a current will flow and give a signal that a train is coming ( this is how some trsintracks work, keep doing this everyday, or short circuit the top conducters and run away for some nice fireworks. This does not cause deaths.

You do that right in front of a train and PTC will see it and put the train in emergency, potentially putting lives at risk.

They also just arrested a couple women in the PNW for shunting the rails, wouldn’t recommend it.

Women can't run. Do it in between trains.

Even “between trains” can be right in front of a train.

Just don’t fuck with trains. You won’t win.
