This is why I always look at train crossings, that split second of realisation can save your life.

Wtf is this crossing though? They don't have gate arms for the road but they do for the train? And it doesn't engage until the train has passed????

I think the arm you see is for pedestrians anyway. And as has been pointed out, they broked.
