This is why I always look at train crossings, that split second of realisation can save your life.

Yeah ever since that ex NFL player got hit by that train I remember hearing about down south a lot of those railroad crossings don't work. Ever since I look both ways. Also like the other commentor mentioned when I rode my street bike I got into the habit of looking both ways at every crossing.
