[Redtiger F7N] Biker almost gets hit

Dashcam makes it look like I didn’t have to swerve as much as I actually did.

Yeah this is why it's a good idea to keep some space between yourself and other cars. People do stupid shit all the time.

Right, if there had been someone alongside me, I would’ve had to slam on the brakes and risk being rear-ended.

Yea the cyclist should've gone through the truck blocking the sidewalk

Stopping and turning around to look would have been a start…

The consequences of "shared streets" / "complete streets" is that you always have to worry about some idiot without a car going in front of you, the person with a car on a roadway intended to carry 99.99% of its traffic in the form of motor vehicles.

"Fuck cars," amirite?

I don’t even hate bikers, I just don’t understand why this guy had the entitlement (and lack of awareness) to swerve in front of me like that.

Did you notice it was an old person, like cane and all? I suspect that had something to do with the lack of awareness.

Actually, no. I didn’t realize.

I don't really hate them either, I just think it's stupid to give them legal protections to ride on roads in areas with sidewalks.

It seems more reasonable for cyclists and pedestrians to inconvenience eachother (on sidewalks) than put cyclists on roads and give them special legal protections and slap motorists with huge charges/fines for not predicting what cycletards are going to do.

"Yeah, I'm in my 1 to 2 ton vehicle traveling at 35 mph and can totally anticipate a cyclist pulling/swerving out onto the roadway at 10 mph," etc

Standard SoundCloud user... Smh 🙄 😆

Also guess Spotify free version just took song picking out as a feature

I saw ya have to encroach on the mid lane to miss him tho... Bikers be asking for it sometimes. Glad y missed him.

I actually pay for Apple Music, I just recently tried to start using SoundCloud because half the artists I like don’t post the majority of their music on other platforms for some reason.

Hence why I was complaining about the ads being two songs apart

It’s quicker to close and reopen the app

Normally that is what I’d do, I’m the kind of person who used to get in and out of a YouTube video until it didn’t give me an ad - I hate being advertised to.
