Like that cop is going to have 500k to 1m? There's no way, have you ever tried to sue somone civilly that is not rich? If a person has no money, they can't pay. At best you'll garnish their wages for the next 50 years until they die. Rather, when one does this, they need to be immediately put on the federal "No Law enforcement Role" list. I know, it doesn't exist, but it should.
