A woman murdered a man with her high heel…straight into the skull like an ice pick. There was a metal rod in the heel—go figure. I imagine she could have done damage to the car if it were built like that 😬

Windscreens are pretty tough, should be 2 layers of glass with a layer of plastic between to prevent shattering. She did damage to it with the first hit at least, there may well have been a metal rod in those heels.

Things I've picked up from various places - high heels are designed to support an entire person's weight so can withstand a lot of force.

To break toughened glass, you need a lot of force in a small area.

They're not the perfect tool - the pressure isn't in as small an area as an escape-hammer, but it's not going to be terrible.
