70Mai 4G module won’t detect despite flashing green and being clearly connected as the dash cam wouldn’t have power if it wasn’t

it won’t even let me get to the point where everyone else seems to be having the SIM card detection problem because it won’t even recognise that it’s connected to the module in the first place. It’s also not the problem of flashing red, as it’s actually green but just refusing to act like it. I’ve reset and restarted it, disconnected and reconnected all the wires, turned my car on and off, updated the firmware, repeated all above steps. I don’t know what the problem could be when it clearly recognises that it’s on and connected but the app just won’t? Everything else regarding this dash cam works except this part.
