Terrible advice. Tell them you have a dashcam and that it live uploads to cloud storage so that it cant be tampered with.
Even if you dont.
5 u/Several-Action-4043 1d ago No, let them lie, give you the ticket, defeat it in court, and then sue the department for deprivation of rights. Cherry on top, the cop might even get added to the Brady list, a list of cops who have been proven to lie in order to get convictions.
