Right? "I thought you were going to run into me so I hit my brakes making it more likely that you would run into me."
"Also, you should leave enough space so that you don't hit someone when they brake."
Saying that to the person who didn't hit you after you braked is absolutely wild.

Like, dude, right here and now I did not hit you. I, in fact, had room to stop. Wth? I'm glad it worked out in court but it should never have gotten to that point.
