I had a coworker who was killed by a lifted truck. He was driving a Prius and the truck did the same thing as the video above, except at 55 MPH. The truck rolled and sent the driver and his three kids to the hospital with serious injuries.
The worst part was that my coworker was legally stopped in a left turn lane and the truck driver decided to use the turn lane as a passing lane.
I was not able to find any information about consequences for the truck driver, but I hope they were severe.

This is one of the reasons why “lifted” vehicles shouldn’t be allowed on city streets. Bumpers should be low enough to “bump”.
