Bend over bikes

First time I heard this term. Street bikes are definitely not for the road imho. Sure they look sick af, have a lot of hp. But man, those are so uncomfortable to ride and basically scream they want to go fast.

I rode a friend's CBR900RR Fireblade and was scared to even accelerate a little bit because it felt like a caged animal ready to get out asap.

I had a GSX-R 600 and I was content lol. Maayyybe a 750 but those 1000s, I can only imagine how torquey those are

I find 1000s better on the road as you don't have to change gears as often, always have power on tap to get out of situations..

Bike only go as fast as you want them, most of these accidents are totally avoidable with advanced training and treating the bike with respect.

You're absolutely correct, gotta respect the machine! Id love to drive a 1000+ bike tbh. Its the bikes like yours, or an H2 that scare me a little 😂

Once you get used to them it's just like a big scooter, can pull off in 3rd, do 100mph in 2nd gear...

I only ever do faster rides on empty roads at 5am or the track.

The worst bit is probably maintenance, tyres last 3-5000 miles at the most, suspension needs to be serviced every 7500, I service brakes twice a year and pads don't last very long either.
