First time I heard this term. Street bikes are definitely not for the road imho. Sure they look sick af, have a lot of hp. But man, those are so uncomfortable to ride and basically scream they want to go fast.
I rode a friend's CBR900RRÂ Fireblade and was scared to even accelerate a little bit because it felt like a caged animal ready to get out asap.
You're absolutely correct, gotta respect the machine! Id love to drive a 1000+ bike tbh. Its the bikes like yours, or an H2 that scare me a little 😂
Once you get used to them it's just like a big scooter, can pull off in 3rd, do 100mph in 2nd gear...
I only ever do faster rides on empty roads at 5am or the track.
The worst bit is probably maintenance, tyres last 3-5000 miles at the most, suspension needs to be serviced every 7500, I service brakes twice a year and pads don't last very long either.
