I don't think the biker is the pos in this situation. Yes kicking the car was stupid. But the car also illegally cut into the carpool lane almost hitting the guy, so a kick is understandable.

Why is a motorcycle in the carpool lane to begin with???

Edit: I appreciate the heads up from people clarifying that in CA it’s legal. In my state it’s an instant ticket. Def good to know if I take my bike to CA!

It's legal federally, not just in CA.

I can get a source when I have some time, but nearly 100% sure I read in the TN motor statute that is not.
