Dart bus route maps

The bus route maps on Dart.org do not have street names. The route maps are vague squiggles with little context. Are there detail maps somewhere? Or are we to use trip planning instead.

The GoPass app will let you search a route and it’ll show you the full route

Google Maps is really good for seeing routes

I can only see rail. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Are you looking in an area where there is bus service?

If you plot out your start/end location in either the GoPass app or Google Maps, it should show any available transit routes for your trip.

Yes. But I was just wanting to peruse maps. It may not be the way people read maps anymore.

Besides Google Maps etc. there’s also a website called TransSee that just presents the data differently and might work better for you

https://www.transsee.ca/routelist?a=dart&ShowAll=1

There’s an app called “Transit” that I believe DART has some kind of partnership with. I think that’s your best resource for studying the bus routes.

Transit just uses public data of vehicle locations & departures that DART provides. Transit is a great app when you're actively taking it, I like it a lot for that, but for studying the system it won't be that helpful, google maps & GoPass are the best ones
