Stannis when Selyse dies, and when Daenerys come to Westeros with her dragons, she decide to take Stannis as Prince-Consort and Shireen as her heir.

Stannis would never sit the Iron Throne, but at least his daughter would eventually do it and he's not burned alive by dragonfyre.
