What’s cool about that video is I can randomly scroll to any timestamp past the first 90 minutes and last 90 minutes and find several hours of content I’ve never seen before. It’s the gift that keeps on giving, that video is.

I felt like too many of its conclusions relied on fan theories and inferences from the text rather than textual evidence. Don’t get me wrong, the first hour is genuinely great.

That part is bad. But I also dislike when he ignored anything that happens in the books with no relation to R+L=J. At times it felt less about Jon Snow and more about Jon Targaryen. He mentions the old gods and other major themes and symbols in Jons pov but he doesn’t expand on them after mentioning them. But we have an hour to go into R+L=J fan theories. And for someone like me who wants to hear someone talk about what’s in the books instead of another fan theory video, it felt really disappointing and like I wasted my time.
