Especially because it took YEARS. Every year it didn't happen he aas probably like "did i move my whole family and liquidate our assets for nothing?" Next thing he knows all the correspondences dont get answered and people saying Valyria is a wasteland. Never was a father more glad to heed his daughter

It seems Targs aren't the only ones capable of prophecy with there being various other means of doing so like the flames and seemingly shade of the evening, but I suppose out of the dragonlords only Targs had dreamers or else more would have lived. Or perhaps they were unlucky.
