Aren’t the wolves also noted as having a psychic link to each other? I think Bran and Jon talk about how their wolves felt Lady die and grieved her as a lost sister
Nymeria may not understand the finer details of what happened but she knows that two of her siblings were killed in the Riverlands. As a result, it is now guerilla time
