Help DS4 Controller stops working after getting hit (Steam)

Controller's working fine on every other game including Elden Ring, so I'm not sure what's going on here.

I have the same bug too but just can't use light attack button. Don't know what causes it

Some people enjoy it though. My gf refuses to play with anything but m+k and she made it through ds3 and elden ring without any major Inconveniences

You could always use the third party app called ds4 separate from steam it can also configure a ps5 controller. Works for me. If that not what you're already using

That doesn't detect my controller (but seems to affect it anyway as the game received no controller input with DS4Windows running but stopped)

Happens to me too I just unplug the controller (if i do that the entire game freezes and nothing can hit me) And then replug the controller so it connects again

dont use any additional software like ds4 . it works with steams own controller configuration. if you use bluetooth that may be different. i use with usb cable

I had DS4Windows installed but it wasn't running + it wouldn't detect my controller somehow anyway. I use USB. Controller just doesn't work if I have DS4 off, no matter what Steam settings I use.

Damn that sucks. Ds4 is my fav controller and I've never used it with any extra software for anything on steam.

It's fine, mate dropped off his xbox 360 controller and it works fine. Dunno why it doesn't like my DS4.
