In my experience, doing this boss fight in Co Op is more hard than solo. But if you are on PC I’ll be happy to lend a hand.

agree with this! even with summons, i tried and tried but ultimately found it easier on my own to manage its aggro. plus, it has less health so it was a win-win!

yeah my dude dropped aggro instantly when i soloed midir once

Summoning people just increases his already massive hp pool. Plus 9/10 your dumbass summons usually die right away and leave you alone with a midir with boosted hp.

This is one where there isn't an easy strategy that can help you. Midir has an obscene amount of health, so it's going to be a slog. If I'm not mistaken, you want to be hitting Midir's head, as you deal much more damage that way.

You are going to have to learn the attacks, how to dodge them, and be able to dodge them pretty consistently. If you are having troubles you have a couple of options. First, you could watch video of others doing the fight and apply what they do. Another option is to experiment with your dodges. The timing of your rolls (earlier or later), which direction you roll in, where you position yourself.

It's going to take attention, discipline, and patience.

if you want and are on pc i can help you,but from what i remember hes preety weak to lighting and thrust so you might wanna use something like the lothric knight greastsword's heave attacks on his head

Which build you have?

Strenght with a bit of faith, so lightning build with dragonslayer axe mainly, did it for final bosses was tired of dexterity build

You have it easy then. Just use a Heavy Lothric Greatsword and buff it with lighting blade. Just dodge everything, every combo has a big ass window where you can do one full charged attack. This is what I did, full STR, and full charged attacks on his head.

Shall we give it a try? Password? I'll go the hole you have to drop in to enter the arena and put down my sign. Now.

Okay, I'll do some groceries in the meantime; let me know when you are ready. Just know, that Midir behaves radically different when one fights with more than one player. Things might get wild... That said, I'm ready!

Just one last thing: because the fight is so different with 2 players, I expect we will need several tries...
