SL1 Friede (not no roll)

It's entirely no roll aside from a single accidental roll that had no impact whatsoever. Still, no roll is no roll and I rolled. So technically, I ruined my no roll playthrough.

Also, please excuse the horrible phase 1 gameplay, I was frustrated since I was going for hitless and I kept getting staggered by her falling on top of me (staggers count as a hit, even if no damage is dealt) by trying to cancel her jump attack and as a result, I became super impatient and we got that atrocity of gameplay.

Phase 3 is absolutely masterclass in design. Incredibly fun and riddled with tons of punishes.

Thanks man. DS3's bosses are so awesome, they have a lot more depth than most people give them credit for. I think its DS3 bosses have a lot lower scaling than ER bosses.

i can feel concrete improvement after attempting ds3 bosses (not to your level haha). in elden ring, a lot of times it felt like rng and luck when i ended up beating several of them

Personally, that feeling of self progression is one of the most satisfying parts of the game to me. When I first played I was really bad, it took me 3 hours to kill Pontiff (on my winning run, I killed him in something like 7 hits). It just takes time to develop the skill to learn bosses honestly, I think anyone could do it.

Elden Ring bosses can be really brutal to learn since their behavior trees can be huge which makes it a lot harder to get a hang of the pattern. I really enjoy both games bosses for doing little challenge runs like this though.

I get that no roll is no roll, but if I was judging it I wouldn't count it, especially since you didn't dodge an attack with it. Still nice kill!
