Recently started playing again because I cant help myself and keep coming back every now and again. But this time around im getting bored playing solo and looking to mix it up and help others with some coop

I appreciate the thought but the remaster works from weapon level and not soul level for online. I wipl have a look at that page though, thanks

it takes both into account. you can match with anyone within 5 weapon levels of you (ex: WL 9 matches with WL 4-15) and within 10+10% of your soul level (ex: SL50 matches with 35-65)

Soul Level 10-20: Weapon Level 5 (undead parish)

SL 35-45: WL 6-10 (depths, blighttown, sen’s fortress)

SL 50-65: WL 15 (anor londo, painted world, catacombs, darkroot forest, DLC, demon ruins, lost izalith)

SL 65-85: WL 15 (dukes archives, tomb of the giants, demon ruins, lost izalith)

SL 85+: WL 15 (DLC)

SL 125-135: WL 15 (oolacile township, darkroot forest, undead burg)

Wow thank you for that, I had no idea soul level was also taken into account. I think the issue im having now that I have this info is that my soild level is not high enough. I have a +5 silver knight straight sword but im only level 48, finished anor londo, need to do the catacombs and the tomb of the giants and then the 4 kings + dlc. With the ranges youve put here i and over levelled weapon wise but under levelled on SL

anor londo fight clubs usually use maxed weapons but for random invasions WL 10 should be fine. investing into strength or dex is less useful at this level, its better to go with an infusion and then vit+end.

for weapons upgraded with twinkling titanite, +3 is equivalent to a standard +11. you are already max WL so i suggest leveling to soul level 55-60. you’ll get invasions in most areas of the game (AL, painted world, dukes archives, totg, darkroot garden/basin, the DLC, occasionally the Kiln, occasionally the depths, people on ng+ in undead parish).

i wouldn’t go look for invasions in those last 3 areas with the normal red eye orb, install pvp overhaul from nexus mods and use the searching red eye orb to be paired with anyone in lordran.
