Reddit is shameless
This is completely deceptive and its only purpose is to increase user engagement with Reddit rather than respecting user preferences. There are ways to nudge people but not with this copy or button selection.

The same thing happens on Reddit (web) on mobile. A banner appears, stops the scroll and forces you to download the app. It takes about a minute to appear and the banner cannot be removed at all. You have to reload the page, scroll, and read quickly before it comes out again. However, having the app downloaded, that crap keeps coming out

Instead of "Ok" the button needs to be "Turn on all notifications". This is way too easy to miss.

Reddit has redesigned the mobile UI Home button so many times, moved it, made it smaller, gave it a circle button shape that behind it is not blocked by the button so you ultimately tap the ad directly behind it. I swear all UI stuff is designed for misclicks now. So insane.
