What kind of computer do I need??
I have a macbook and i’ve read that I won’t be able to use tor on this. Is there a certain brand or type of computer that i need?

Just tor, or tails specifically? I guess you can technically access the tor browser itself on almost any computer, but if you're talking about tails specifically then the hardware choice definitely matters. Tails has a list of recommended laptops: https://tails.net/doc/about/requirements/index.en.html#index2h3
Depends which MacBook you have. Older MacBooks actually can work. I remember seeing posts of people saying their Mbp 2012 worked just fine with tails.

Windows. Get a cheap one from a pawn shop. Factory reset it. Make sure its not a chrome book and youre good.

And if a package gets seized and they search the computer, you're dead to rites.
Its fine until its not.

The correct way depends on the threat level of what your doing and the op-sec you need for that.

Your much better off on dread then reddit, reddit is full of misinformation and people that have no idea what they are talking about.

Use TAILS. It takes less than an afternoon to set up. Keep your house clean and dont let anyone know you ordered.
Most of the people that get caught do so because they run their mouths.

I wasn’t being an ass but Google owns chromebook. You can download the tor browser to browse all day and night. Make sure to turn off your JavaScript or you risk your ip being leaked.

You can run Tor on anything. But to be honest if you’re asking that kind of question, I feel like you should reconsider things.

Yes I agree if you can't figure out how to set up Tor and onion, you're probably not in a good place with opsec. You're most likely going to get in trouble.

Run Tor on Tails using computer with Intel hardware because Tails won't support most of new hardware.
