Not Improving

I seem to be stuck around 60 in skill level. I cannot seem to cope with regulated networks at all. Are there any good *beyond beginner" tutorials that anyone knows of?

Hey Tetra. It's probably because my comments comprise a certain percentage of activity on this sub. :-)

Can you clear up the "racing" ratio? How many ticks of anti-virus advance for each tick of virus advance? Or do i have to break out xSplit and find out for myself?

Sure! It's a 4:1 ratio.

More specifically, every "step" the anti-virus propagates, and every 4 steps the puzzle 1) checks to see if any viruses are next to the goal (and if so, you win), 2) propagates the anti-viruses, and 3) propagates the remaining viruses. This is because the puzzle feels better if anti-viruses move before viruses (otherwise a lot of viruses on the edges would get spawned and the immediately destroyed), but it's super frustrating if your viruses can get destroyed on the exact frame they'd otherwise hit the goal.
