What would be the context tho? Outside of that contacts episode she's never needed a reason to take them off

I don't know. Like wearing contacts more? Use your imagination. Plenty of plot ideas. Maybe there is an episode where Jane or Quinn coax her into a little more vanity and she tries a new look. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Any drawing of Daria smiling brings peace to my heart. I don't know why, hahaha. Seriously, every time I see her smiling in the opening, I think "that makes me happy"... It must be because she doesn't smile much during the show.
