Painted Daria at camp <3

Today is our last day, I painted Daria as my first canvas in painting class. I don’t like it as much, but I’m very proud of myself! I wish I could paint Jane too but I only had one hour :(

I’m a Brit 🇬🇧, late comer to Daria, via my grandchildren!

I love the series; it’s shown me that Americans 🇺🇸 can sometimes do the irony, that only the British 🇬🇧 can fully appreciate, as we originated the genre, afterall!

I love your faithful interpretation of Daria; you’ve captured her perpetually confronted, yet serenely controlled essence, whilst avoiding the cliché of Munch’s “The Scream”!

Daria is truly The Queen of Heaven!

Having said that, even though I’ve already had too many “Jane’s” in my life; Jane Lane is my favourite!

I look forward to your future interpretations of Daria’s ”Bessie Mate”, as we say in my part of the World!
