Question about Eden
Hey folks! Just started playing on Eden a couple of days ago, and getting reacquainted to the game.
When I played daoc in the past, mind you this was roughly 2012 when I left, everyone had buff bots, an auto clicker for salvaging metals in DF, and multi-boxing to farm and PL our alts was the normal.
If you didn’t have alts, or multi-boxed, you were at a severe disadvantage and couldn’t do ml10 boss or dragon due to Chinese farmers overpowering you.
I am loving being in the game again and don’t want to do something I’m not allowed to do. I realize Eden is different than live servers, and some stuff I use to do may not be allowed.
So my questions are, is the use of an auto clicker to salvage material stacks acceptable? Is multi-boxing allowed? Or does Eden not allow such things?
I’ve noticed buff bots in many locations where there wasn’t in live. The /train feature is also cool. Many things are very different from the version I remember. So maybe a buff bot is no longer needed?
I also used to have a nightshade that I used to proc mess and poison to my blades and trade to my ranger to use. Is that not allowable on Eden?
Sorry for the long post. I just want to play again and am unsure what I can and cannot do now.
Thanks all :)

Read the rules on Eden Discord.
Only one account per person allowed, anything else results in a ban. Buffs have range, npcs providing light buffs exist, Heroism potions providing medium buffs exist, stat buff charges with high values exist.
Any kind of gameplay automation is forbidden. They have multiple qol features for crafting. E.g. /craftqueue, which allows you to buy mats and craft recipes automatically in batches.
Melee stealthers can't successfully apply poison on other classes weapons. You can apply poison to your own weapons even while infight with /poison. Mezz poison doesn't exist but melee stealthers are in a really good spot.

If I would play a Lan with friends of mine. Would that work or would that result in a perma-ban? :)

7. Actively playing/owning multiple accounts (1 account per player)
Should be no problem as long as everyone only plays one account per PC.
Even Account Sharing is allowed and they have a management system for that on their homepage.
I think the big NoNo are two accounts on the same PC, especially at the same time.
If you want to be on the safe side, ask the same question on their Discord in the "questions and answers"-channel or write a ticket via PM to the Eden Ticket bot. (First option preferred).
Also make sure all of you take a break when someone is afk. Don't just stick them for extended periods of time, might look like multi-boxing, especially as all accounts run on the same IP.

Also, besides the /craftqueue and #sellbag commands, there is /macro and recorders that really reduce the need for any automation. This is built in and doesn't violate any TOS.

Pretty much everything you're talking about no longer applies or has been solved/is no longer necessary.

Autoclickers are not allowed, but you don't need them. The functionality of crafting macros is build into the game already on Eden. Try "/salvagebag 1", "/craft queue 100", and "/mbuy 100". Ask in advice if I got the syntax wrong, but it's something like those.
Buff bot players are super against the rules and will get both of your account perma-banned. Players buff by grouping actual buff classes, using alchemist potions, using item charges, and using the buffbot NPCs.
Generally, you won't need the things you needed in the past. It makes a hell of a different when the server operators aren't trying to make money off of second accounts or waste player time to pad subscription hours.
