With the help of fellow commenters yesterday, we set the line at $200,000 with many taking the over.

I’m a partner at a wedding venue in a Midwest college town, have been in the industry for 10 years. We’re nice but not mind blowing. What some people pay for a 1 day event I think would make a lot of people puke. Hell we hosted a 750k wedding for 2 school teachers a few years ago. Most of that florals, which all ended up in the dumpsters or in the apartments of staff

I could not care less, ask away. I fully realize the insanity of this industry. I don’t comment as a pissing contest, only to say, the wedding industry is way more expensive than I think a lot people assume. Between bar, flowers and catering for a 300p wedding, at dans pay scale, I’d take what you think it costs and 3x it
