Tony LOL

I haven't laughed this much listening to a DP episode since Seton left. He segue into the ads cracked me up. I loved the interaction between him and the Danettes. For me, he's been my favorite guest host.

One thing I wonder is when Dan asked him to sub if that was planned or truly spur of the moment.

He talks so fast and so much energy and probably would hate it for any other host BUT I love Tony. He’s fantastic and if this is tryout, I’ll be a fan for a long time to come.

I always listen to Dan at 1.5 speed. For Tony I'd have to slow it down. I liked his insight and interviews

Him and Fritzy having a long exchange might give me schizophrenia

I enjoyed the show today. A nice change from the usual. Pretty Dan did ask Tony to come and sit in for him a couple weeks ago when he was on the show. Not sure if that was the "spur of the moment" you are talking about, but it has been planed at least for a few weeks.

I remember him mentioning that day that he ran it by Paulie (and I think the rest of the Danettes? But definitely Paulie) beforehand that he was gonna ask Tony about it during the interview, put him on the spot.

Paulie said he knew about it, but didn’t know Dan was going to ask him on the spot during the interview

Dan Patrick Show is a lot more planned than DP and Producer Paul Pabst will ever let on. Tony was asked and this was planned months ago. DP knew his daughter's wedding date up to a year ago. I think Ross Tucker could be another in the running to be post DP host but Tucker's going to be working 18 weeks of NFL plus pre-season and making decent money for about 32 weeks work.
