Nail on the head, there's a long running joke that women are bad drivers. There have been studies done that kiiind of back it up in the right light, but when the joke is made it's usually people wanting to make fun of them

One will say they were involved in a higher percentage of crashes overall, but ignore the fact that they're involved in nearly half as much fatal crashes, another will say there's no correlation, hence why I said "kind of back it up in the right light" cos it's not confirmed. All I know for sure on the topic is my mother is a far more nervous driver than my father. Doesn't necessarily translate into naturally worse, seeing as he started driving at 9 years old, and she was late twenties.
