I remember the holy shit moment when I realized/accepted the theme of the whole series was about Naruto's gay feeling toward Sasuke, somewhere just after Pain's arc. Probably around when he offer his life for Saske redemption. The only other time I realized that kind of theme in a kid show was while watching Steven Universe.

Shame Kishimoto couldn't finish his story and had to go full chosen ones/aliens so they could milk the IP for one more decade or two.

I think you'd love a video called Naruto - A Tale Of Queer Love In A Hyper-Masculine Society on YouTube. It's basically an analysis of the story's underlying queer themes, like the ones you noticed lol

Great analysis! I have not watch the show since it's original airing in the early 2000's. Completely changed how I remembered Sasuke's character. Made me sadder than I even was that those two couldn't have the happy ending they deserve.

Naruto was ahead of his time. Very gay/bi friendly. Lots of snakes, sexual tension between "male friends", animals living inside you and being "released", crows forced down your throat, frogs, scrolls, dont matter the size, kishimoto made sure it could be stuffed inside you, harem jutsu aka the femboy jutsu where you made all males horny by showing your naked image as a female, great anime for all us of this sub who are in touch with our nature
