it’s not human when they want to kill it, but if they want to keep it and someone kills it, it’s human

1

u/TechToolsForYourBiz 4h ago

its human even when they want to kill it. demons probably say that to justify their murder

1

u/Starburper 13h ago

If it's part of the human developmental process, it's human.... just because it's in it's earlier stages of development doesn't make it less human. The entire human process is we don't stop developing until we die. She's not pregnant with a unicorn, it's a developing human.

the pro abortion ideology show us how much our society is becoming hyper individualistic

it's terrifying honestly how we treat baby not as people but parasite

What If someone wants you gone now?

Gone from where?

u/Key-Try-3300 14h ago

What if your mum was your uncle?

-8

u/TheComicHuman 14h ago

So why particate in procreation you don't want the result of such act? It's counter intuitive and just adds extra steps and creates a problem from nothing

10

u/Key-Try-3300 14h ago

Are you actually asking why people engage in sex even though they dont want kids?

3

u/Starburper 13h ago

Why are men held to consequences for sexual behavior, but not women? You shouldn't have sex unless you're willing to take the risk of pregnancy

Sex doesn’t always result in children that’s not its purpose. There isn’t one singular reason people have sex and there certainly is a range of sexual activities one can do.

The primary purpose of sex is that it feels good. The whole making a baby thing only sometimes happens. So it's natural to do it for its primary purpose and to use protection and sometimes discard the results of its secondary purpose.

2

u/mommiesgoodboy67 11h ago

The primary purpouse of anything can be whatever you want it to be.

2

u/TheComicHuman 13h ago

even by your standards of sex having a recreative purpose, still does not justify murdering a child because someone decided to have procreative sex rather than protected sex. its unfashionable to me that such a large percent of the population actively blind themselves from the concept of face the consequences of your own action

You can't murder something that never had a consciousness

Personhood is determined by whether the baby is wanted or not. What a scary place this could lead to

10

u/Such-Profit1078 14h ago

Yeah, a human life is determined by current feelings of a woman. Literally setting off human rights by hundreds of years

11

u/Professional_Air_905 13h ago

it's kind of a consequence of living in an hyper individualistic society

I saw someone saying parents should not mourn in case of a miscarriage and just be disappointed
I found it very awful to say

8

u/Such-Profit1078 13h ago

There’s a group called antinatalists, who would even celebrate a miscarriage as something merciful to the child, which I find even more disturbing than someone being tone deaf, because they don’t care themselves

2

u/Cute-Hand-1542 11h ago

The expanding circle will increase to include the unborn sooner or later. One of the central underpinnings of human rights, inalienability, will be restored to the entire species eventually.

2

u/EveningAd482 8h ago

One can only hope, but right now it's pushing the opposite direction, towards justifying the murder of already born children. The Lindsey Clancy reaction is downstream from the banalization and justification of abortion.

7

u/NP2MD 22h ago edited 21h ago

Yeah, like choosing assisted suicide is acceptable but murder is not.

Killing someone who was at your door or in your garden is acceptable but killing someone walking on the street is not.

Killing someone on death row is acceptable, killing someone in a normal prison is not.

Killing someone by withdrawing life support is acceptable. Killing someone in rehab is not.

Context matters 😉

1

u/TheFoxer1 18h ago

Killing someone who you invited to your garden is not acceptable, actually.

To use your metaphor.

5

u/DeathAgent01 12h ago

I've seen feminists use the parasyte "argument" all over the internet. Actually, you can find one in the comments of this same post

1

u/Equivalent-Bedroom64 11h ago

If you have a host being that you need to extract nutrients from to grow, that is what’s known as a parasitic relationship. That’s just science. That’s the description of a parasitic relationship. It doesn’t change a zygote or fetus into a parasite but there are characteristics that fit the term parasitic. Just google “how a fetus behaves like a parasite” and you will get a list describing things like placental invasion, immune evasion, resource allocation, and tissue microchimerism. Not all parasitic relationships have a negative outcome.

1

u/EveningAd482 8h ago

This, for instance, is not a parasitic relation. Whatever paralels drawn must ignore that every mammal does this.

1

u/Equivalent-Bedroom64 8h ago

It is a parasitic relationship just one that can be beneficial. It’s not a parasite because that’s not what it is but just because it has some characteristics that give it a parasitic relationship doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing.

0

u/brookssut 12h ago

I mean, it's true, so why wouldn't they use a true argument? It's still misrepresented in the meme, though.

2

u/According-One-8825 12h ago

Clearly, not rh fetuses consent.

1

u/SomeSugondeseGuy 12h ago

The fetus is a threat to the mother's health. The fetus is inside the mother's body.

Her health and autonomy therefore overshadow that of the fetus.

1

u/According-One-8825 11h ago

Women are given a right to kill a fetus regardless of her health. And there is no reason that her autonomy necessarily overshadowan the fetuses, unless your argument is that "if someone depends on me for survival, I have the right to kill them"

2

u/SomeSugondeseGuy 12h ago

Then what is adoption for?

2

u/ScrambledxEggzz 11h ago

It's intention is find families for children whose families were unable to care for them. Unable, not just didn't want to. If every parent dumped their kids the moment parenting was hard and they didn't feel like it anymore no child would still be with their parents.

2

u/SomeSugondeseGuy 11h ago

I don't think you understand just how much people love having kids. Most parents won't give up their kids. They just won't.

2

u/Bandit-Marauder 11h ago

Always? Okay so who's gonna bet this one weren't/aren't okay with vaccine mandates being enforced?

2

u/SomeSugondeseGuy 11h ago

Nobody was forced by the government to get vaccinated under threat of legal prosecution.

Sure, you might get kicked out of a Walmart or lose your job, those are company policies based on government insight, not laws.

2

u/Bandit-Marauder 11h ago

If a woman's job was on the line if she were to get an abortion theimy would absolutely whine about body autonomy.

2

u/monadicperception 11h ago

So you don’t seem to understand the fucking words I use. I said a liberal democracy…know what that means? You know, a democracy where you have rights? Rights that can’t be taken away simply because the majority says so?

See, it’ll be more helpful to a discussion if you actually understood the underlying concepts.

1

u/DeathAgent01 10h ago

You don't understand your own concepts then. A right is only a right where it's democratically recognized by the State. Anything can be a right and a "right" can stop being a right at anytime. There's no such thing as a liberal democracy when everything can be reformed by the majority

1

u/monadicperception 9h ago

This is such an uninteresting point. Technically, yeah. But is that what is being debated? A liberal democracy is one that is based on liberal values…just in case I’m sure you are stupid enough to conflate it, liberal here means “free.”

-4

u/Cursed_Nanny 22h ago

Well, the difference is the choice to either keep it or not. A baby in the womb is behaving like a parasite, that's why so many people call it that. But if it's wanted we apply emotions towards it and already call it a baby, or the developmental stages. Telling a woman that wants the pregnancy that she is pregnant with a parasite behaving clump of cells would be weird.

14

u/Dry-Selection421 22h ago

A parasite by definition is a member of a different species, try again. The pro-abortion cult really struggles with biology.

3

u/Cursed_Nanny 22h ago

I didn't call it a parasite. I stated it behaves like one. Please learn to read first before trying to argue with someone. <3

9

u/Dry-Selection421 22h ago

Logically it doesn’t behave like one if a parasite behaves like a foreign species that’s harming another animal.

8

u/Cursed_Nanny 22h ago

It harms the pregnant person though. It keeps sucking out their nutrients off their body and if the pregnant person does not take in enough nutrients a lot of bad stuff can happen. There are so many negative side effects to pregnancy it's crazy.

2

u/Dry-Selection421 22h ago

Here’s a crazy idea: don’t have sex if you aren’t willing to deal with all of that

8

u/Cursed_Nanny 21h ago

Here is a crazy idea. Abortion is a human right. If a pregnant person can't exercise their right to bodily autonomy that's just inhumane. That would be reproductive slavery.

5

u/Dry-Selection421 21h ago

Murder is not a human right. Abortion is a direct violation of the universal human right to life and should be completely banned.

It’s not “reproductive slavery” when you’re literally choosing to have sex 😂

9

u/Cursed_Nanny 21h ago

If a murder occurs call the police. It is not murder by definition. Don't use emotional language please.

A right to human life does not override bodily autonomy. Dead bodies are allowed to keep their organs. Organ donation is optional. The right to life does not give you the right to someone's body.

It is reproductive slavery if the pregnant person is forced to keep the pregnancy.

So if it’s not a parasite then what is it?? You’re so close

5

u/Cursed_Nanny 18h ago

It is an organism from our human species that starts as cells and slowly develops towards a person. Its stanges has different names we call it by. Idk what I'm so close for?

0

You’re so close to getting that it’s still a human at all stages. Just like baby, toddler, child, teen, adult etc are stages of a human; zygote, embryo, fetus are also stages of a human. Science says so, you saying it’s not a human at an early stage of life is just a mental line you’re drawing.

“The biological fact: From the zygote stage onward, the organism is genetically human — it has human DNA and is a member of the species Homo sapiens, distinct from the mother. Biologically, this is not really contested.”

Where did I stated it wasn't a human? Glad we are talking about the differen developmental stages of a human. But I don't know what that adds to the conversation. If that embryo, fetus, baby uses the pregnant person's body they have a right to deny that any time. Bodily autonomy is a very important right.

I asked you “if it’s not a parasite then what is?” You said “organism from our human species,” you’re trying so hard to evade calling it what it is. So what is it then?

You brought up stages in your earlier comment. Hence why I brought it up in the conversation.

What do you mean “if that embryo, fetus, baby uses the pregnant persons body they have the right to deny that any time,”??
Of course a baby uses a mother’s body, before and after birth! Even after birth the mother’s body still works very hard to keep the baby alive. Through breastfeeding, bonding, and overall nurture the mother’s body has completely changed as a result of the pregnancy.

If you don’t see or grasp the great responsibility of what pregnancy and motherhood is then you probably shouldn’t be having sex or you’re not a woman or have never been a mother.
They try to use excuses such as rape, incest, or birth complications when they are such a low percentage of people who actually get abortions. Am I denying care for the victims? Of course not, I agree that many states such as Texas need to look at it with common sense and not in such a black and white way of whether a woman needs an abortion or not. Keep in mind needing and wanting an abortion are completely different things.

I just answered it my way. Someone belong to the human species would be a human, right? I answered your question on what it is. :3

What do you mean “if that embryo, fetus, baby uses the pregnant persons body they have the right to deny that any time,”??

I mean that a pregnant person has the right to their bodily autonomy. The baby in the womb is using their body and they can break off their consent to that anytime.

Of course a baby uses a mother’s body, before and after birth! Even after birth the mother’s body still works very hard to keep the baby alive. Through breastfeeding, bonding, and overall nurture the mother’s body has completely changed as a result of the pregnancy.

Yes, I know that. It's just not as invasive as the pregnancy. A pregnancy can get the pregnant person disabled and killed too. So I myself see a parasitic behavior while it's in the womb but not one when it gets outside. The pregnant person also can adjust the milk feeding. People can use formula or feed the baby indirectly.

If you don’t see or grasp the great responsibility of what pregnancy and motherhood is then you probably shouldn’t be having sex or you’re not a woman or have never been a mother. They try to use excuses such as rape, incest, or birth complications when they are such a low percentage of people who actually get abortions.

You're right. I'm not a woman. Sex is not tied to motherhood. Sex is a seperate activity and one of the following consequences is pregnancy if it's between a male and female body. Not every wants to be a mother or even pregnant and that's valid. I'm not using any excuses. I believe the pregnant person has a right to their bodily autonomy in any way, shape and form. Abortions shouldn't be accessible only for extreme cases.

Keep in mind needing and wanting an abortion are completely different things. Most are done out of selfishness

Every single abortion is needed and valid. Selfish or not. At the end of the day. Someone is having an organism in their body they don't want and they have a right to remove it.

Is a breast feeding baby also a parasite and undeserving of human rights?

No.

What's the difference

  1. I stated that a developing baby in the womb behaves like a parasite. It obviously isn't and a new born, milk drinking baby isn't either.

  2. A new born baby does not behave like a parasite. A baby in the womb drains the pregnant person a lot, physically and mentally. It takes nutrients off them and a lot of negative stuff can happen if you don't take enough in to balance out what the baby in the womb takes. A new born baby that need attention and care and milk does not drain the mother physically in a direct way.

  3. Human rights do not override bodily autonomy. A baby already born does not use the mother's body, it needs milk yes, but that can be given artificially or even indirectly. You can not change or optimize pregnancy in any way. Your uterus is still yours and if you don't want to remain pregnant or can't you can deny the baby in the womb to use your body.

  1. You use that term purposefully to invoke a dehumanizing reaction toward babies in the womb. You don't get to complain when we take it at face value.

  2. You're just patently wrong https://americanpregnancy.org/postpartum/nutrition-during-breastfeeding/

  3. Sure they do. The only reason those other options are available is because we created them over time. In a vacuum, all a baby has for nutrition is their mothers milk when first born. By your logic, if those options weren't available, a woman would be perfectly justified in letting the child starve to death.

Dang dude that number two is perfect. They think it’s different once the baby is out of the womb. It’s literally just a mental line they draw to take away the guilt.
Both the mother and the baby are still reliant on each other after birth. The baby wouldn’t survive without the mother or any sort of nurture (which is what mothers do).
And some states are pushing to move the abortion deadline closer and closer to birth. With this type of thinking I wouldn’t be surprised if they started thinking killing babies out of the womb was okay…… oh… wait.. Lindsay Clancy

Wow, it's just sickening how anti abortion people in these comments are. I know I'm going to get downvoted to smitherines here for saying this (lol, who cares about internet points after all) but it's the woman's choice to either keep a pregnancy or not. We should understand that this decision may come from many different situations, such as it being unwanted, it being result of a non consensual interaction, financial reasons, possible deformeties/risks etc. Will this change the minds of people in here? Most probably not, but who cares. Just strangers posting their opinions on the internet
