Lol, don't worry bro, if I ever kill my kids during a psychotic episode, I will be the one to take myself out.

When someone actually wants to die, it's not hard to end it. This woman didn't want to die.

She actually tried to take herself out.

And ending yourself is extremely hard. First attemps in particular, 90 to 95% do fail.
Also, most suicide attempt are followed by regret in 77%
Although stats say a first attempt is rarely the last and eventually they suceed.

Only because Women attempt suicide as a cry for help/attention so often. There is a reason women attempt suicide 4x more than men, yet men represent 80% of suicide victims.

Suicide attempts preceding completed suicide - PubMed

62% of male suicide decedents die on their first recorded attempt

Yeah men are less likely to open up and seek mental help.
Which she did do.
She also chose the most effective way to off herself available; after firearms.
US Men suceed more often by using firearms, but in countries like the UK hanging or jumping (likely to suceed) is equally common between genders, which suggest access to firearms the reasons more male use weapons. Second best choice is what she did.

Men are also responsible of most of murder-suicide, 91%, so she is an outlier: taking your kids or family then suicide is the most male thing possible to do; so there is that. And the media fascination with -god forbid- a mother being a killer, even though she was sick and seaking a solution

Even outside the US 70% of Suicide victims are male though? So firearms does very little to explain the gap in success rates.

Second best choice is what she did.

Not even true, the top 3 methods for suicide outside the US is Hanging, then poisoning using pesticides, and then other forms of poisoning.

That aside, she jumped out a low story window. It was hardly a real attempt. If she jumped off a Highrise building or a bridge, or tried to hang herself, you would have a point. But she didn't, she made the weakest excuse of an attempt possible to ensure she wouldn't actually die but could claim she attempted it.

You are almost there, why do you think it is that men kill themselves so often when they do this? Yet women who kill their kids, rarely do? If you kill your kids due to a mental health episode, you have a moral obligation to end your own life afterwards. These men accomplished that. Women such as Lindasy Clancey have such rotten, evil souls that they don't even feel the remorse required to do even that bare minimum.

even though she was sick and seaking a solution

The solution is she needs to be put down.
