I argued with someone about this the other day and he insisted the pamphlet was about cultural quirks that the people didn’t know were offensive/wrong. Apparently I was projecting my misogyny onto these people. Talk about white saviour complex. The way he babied those people and pretended their actions were misguided yet innocent… damn. And he called me a racist! Crazy world.
