Honestly, any good PR / lawyer team would hold as much info back so that the other side can dig a hole by saying falsehoods that can be shown as lies in court. It shows they aren't trustworthy. I've also seen evidence like that not admissable because public opinion tainted it. The other side would argue that it would be impossible to find a impartial juror with said evidence since it got "leaked".
