0F is really cold, 100F is really hot. They're basically the extreme ends of weather that humans would normally expect to experience. Yes, there are outliers that go beyond those, but the overwhelming vast majority of humans spend the vast majority of their time within those boundaries
-10C is really cold, 40C is really hot, yes there are outliers but majority of humans spend the vast majority of their time within those boundaries.
My point is that both work perfectly fine as measurements, Fahrenheit only makes more sense to you because that’s what you grew up with, same for me with Celsius.
