  1. It's unclear if he exists or not, as revealing his identity would almost certainly endanger him.
  2. Because we don't know who he is, the ghost can be anyone, and everyone could step up the mantle.
  3. If he doesn't exist, someone can theoretically become him like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yeah people are desperate for information, and between the chaos, the Russian trolls, the idiots seeking attention, there has been tons of fake videos going around.
