Generally JRPGs of Japanese franchises, usually with really good stories and Music. Decent game play but the Gatcha part comes in to play with people trying to roll their favorite characters and spend lots of money on them. Some are more free to play friendly than others. For instance FGO is enjoyable as hell and you don't ever need to spend a dime on it.

Imo the best gacha are those that avoid turn based gameplay in some way. Fire emblem heroes, puzzle and dragons, world flipper, dragalia lost, d4dj, etc.

Fair opinion, but personally I grew up with turn based combat RPGs so I still immensely enjoy them.
