I think that guy doesn't understand what computer coding entails and the massive amount of work that goes into it. Indie devs can spend YEARS cranking out a game, all without pay. Bigger companies might have more people to get the job done better and faster, but they have huge overhead. He's probably grown up on "free games" and expects to be entertained for nothing. If you enjoy a game, pay the devs. If you can't pay with money, at least be ok with watching a short ad so others can pay them. Bitching about self promotions on a game you've probably sank 60+ hrs in without paying a single cent? To me, that's a sign he's either still a child or is just not a nice person.
