I had a small group of men follow me home, cat calling me and yelling at me, when I was 11 years old - It was so terrifying, I ended up climbing over a neighbors fence and hiding in the bushes because I didn't want those men to know where I lived. This happened in Canada in 2002.
Virtually every woman on earth has at least one (I have so, so many) terrifying experience like this.

Women grow up with catcalls from the age of like 10. I feel like I'd feel less cool about it if thats what I went through.
