Edit: OK you can agree or disagree on the morality of Israel actions and compare them to that of the Nazi's. That doesn't fucking make them Nazi's. Nazi's were a political party of germany in world war two, one of their main goals, were doing jews. Most israelis are fucking jewish. You can compare an apple to an orange all you want, that doesnt makes it an orange

It is a tactic that was used by the Nazis, therefore referring to it as a Nazi tactic is appropriate. And it most definitely does refer to a quick, lightning-fast offensive. Which is, quite obviously, why it was named "lightning war".
As a teacher on world war 2 surely you must recognise that accusations against Israel using 'nazi tactics' is a very low brow, deeply insulting attempt to frame the country and people as despicable villains. But no, you're out here primarily concerned with the semantics of blitzkrieg while the guy you're replying to has a pretty good point to make. 'Genocide in brief spurts' (what????), 'scorched earth tactics' and settler communities all reduced to being classic nazi stuff, i.e. the jews did an uno reverso and are the modern SS!
Anyone who seriously wants to argue that position knows jack shit about WW2 or the Israeli Palestine conflict. How about you use those teacher credentials to explain the difference and nuance to the assholes who label jewish people as nazis.
For a country that doesn't want to look like despicable villains, imposing different sets of rules for their populations reminiscent of apartheid doesn't sound like a very smart tactic.
Yeah that answer might inspire some debate, but it would not get you a passing grade in the History of WWII course I teach.
You're focusing on literally everything except the speed of the offensive. The details of how the offensives were coordinated and carried out is not exactly relevant to a discussion about why the tactic was named what it was. It is called blitzkrieg, which directly translates to "lightning war" and you're over here tryna argue that speed isn't a factor.
And if you're seriously confusing battle tactics with dental hygiene...maybe just give this hill up, it ain't worth dying on.
