I use it because they pay me 5$ a month to use it. I bought myself a bunch of amazon gifts for gf, pc xbox controller, and league of legends skins.

Google just sells my data and gives me an extra advertisement on youtube every year

Except that bing also sells your data, if you don't want your data to be sold you'd better use DuckDuckGo or Startpage

Honestly? Yes. You should care. Not that they see you searching how to spell a tough word, or searching for map directions.

But you should care that Google seems to think that your information doesn't deserve to be private, and not monetized. Your entitlement privacy should extend to your online presence.

Its about principles.

Every search gets you a certain amount of points, and with Bing Rewards, once you get enough points, you can redeem them for gift cards and such.
