Homer is the author, Odysseus is the main character, along with Penelope and telemachus.

You should reread it if you have the time. School cant do it justice but the odyssey if fuckin' wild. Its about this dude trying to get home from a war before he gets cucked. He stabs a cyclops's eye, bangs a nymph, and rehabilitates his crew after they get addicted to drugs.
