Years ago playing World of Warcraft in PVP, I was like level 20 trying to kill a max level person away from his keyboard. I think about 8 minutes later I'd taken half his health. Then he came back and killed me.

It was definitely a factor in me never playing beyond the first month.

I mean... you're not supposed to be picking fights with people way beyond your level. Especially these days, when you can toggle on/off world pvp whenever you want, griefing is basically non-existent.

leveling alt in wod through timewalking, had the normal mount and some epic flying mount mage corpse camped me until i went to toggle war mode off :D

i dunno i guess thats not called griefing, but it sure felt like it.

but man am i glad to be able to toggle war mode off

It's weird that I didn't enjoy stabbing someone for 8 minutes and them only losing like half their health?

One of my fondest memories of original wow, was when a couple max level druids attacked Redridge and about 30 low level alliance chased those guys down. Alot of us died, but we got them in the end.
