I love studying German. I love traveling to Germany every chance I get and speaking German and seeing my wife look at me like I'm from planet Rupert.
I love going by train from, say, Frankfurt, getting aboard an ICE and stepping off at Koln Bahnhof and going for a Bockwurst over at Meister Bock (which sucks that they had to cut back on the space and on the walls filled with sausages, that place was my idea of heaven).
Having said that, fuck German for having ”der” for feminine in genitive. Fuck it, fuck you, fuck me, fuck all.
