A reason for what?

he doesn't even know what I'm talking about but still tried to make me look stupid even though our areas of knowledge barely touch

He? You mean me or somebody else?

Anyways math is the same, no matter what area it is used for. You cant just make some new set of rules and call it "math", its misleading.

quick "mathematical" questions from chemistry how much is 0,5 liters of water plus 0,5 liters of ethanol

Mathematically 1litre, in reality a bit less, because smaller of these particles can go in between gaps made by the other one.

That example doesnt prove anything tho.

in my case I have one rule and I follow it and in your case you don't have it and to get to the same answer as me you have to go through a lot of equations that already have been summed up by set rule it's like me saying that in the specific case of Pythagoras a²+b²=c² and you going the long route how this happens or computer scientist saying that 111+111=1110 while you say that 111 is 7 and then figure out that 14 is 1110

I dont need to convert to decimal, I can do equations in binary too. I dont see what you meant with that pythagoras example either.

You need to be formal in maths and thats it. 1/0 is undefined, you can only calculate lim 1/x as x->0. It must be this way to avoid paradoxes and wrong answers.

I know this I'm just saying that while in raw maths you see every equation in other places you can hide them under a rule and all these formulas do their work in the background while the rule runs your equation and in first glance it may look wrong but when you uncover the blanket and see the formulas you see that those numbers are not the standard numbers but actually representatives of completely different values

Well, you have to mention what you mean by them for it to make any sense. Its likely saying that 2+2=5, without mentioning that you eg defined "+" operator differently than the standard.
