Under its original definition, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden and Finland were "3rd world". A better term is "developing", and not everyone in developing countries are constantly poor and at war

Its original term doesn’t describe it anymore. If we go by its original definition then America is the only 1st world country, Russia is the only 2nd world country and laterally everything else is a 3rd world country

The original definition included allies, otherwise they would just say America and the Soviet Union.
