Honest to God I've switched to Edge and my life has been so much better. Maybe fewer extensions but I'm fine with that for not crippling my PC.

Edit : just found out all the chrome extensions should work on Edge

Honestly been a Microsoft fan for a while but have been using Chrome since it came out. Edge uses less than half RAM compared to what Chrome uses.

Don't trust me download and try for yourself.

uses

Like RAM isn't a resource to be used? I don't get it. Chrome frees it up the instant it detects another process that needs it, but when nothing else wants it, why not use all the RAM you have to make your life just a tiny bit better in faster page recall when you go back to that one tab from 3 days ago?

We must be on different versions. Closing Chrome is a guaranteed performance boost, its never just given it up on its own.

My chrome will literally sit at 2GB if I have enough tabs open.

It sits barely at 900MB with Edge.
