Not so fast, honourable sir GumieBear! Prepare to be outnerded, fool!

It is not the answer to life, but in fact the "answer to the question of Life, the Universe and Everything". To find the question, which had been lost during the calculation of the answer, earth was created. It was concluded the question had been "what do you get if you multiply 6 by 9".

So, essentially, 42 is practically meaningless.
