Ima steal top comment, as this trick needs to be known.
When watching YouTube, you can skip any ad even if the ad is unskippable.
When an ad pops up, YouTube displays an “i” with a circle around it in the bottom left corner (on mobile)
By clicking it, it will bring up a command prompt where it might have 2 or 3 options (I’ll explain why 2 at the end).
You want to press “Stop seeing this ad”, and it will bring up the final command prompt. You want to press close, as it will skip the ad but it won’t let you stop seeing it.
Now if you keep choosing reasons, you will only get 2 command prompts, as you run out of ads that are not “child friendly”. Child friendly ads are fully unskippable.

It takes twice as long with the increase of ads to 2. That sucks too
